little secrets....

It might sound a little silly, but when I find beautiful music that I really love--
I want to preserve it.

I want to save it for myself and for the moments when I really need it.
Selfish much? I'm trying to break the habit.

So I happened upon these awesome ladies and I really need to share, they write so poignantly and yet it isn't just their music that draws you in: their creativity is full circle (or at least they work well with other creatives that reflect their music) their videos are delightful, their wardrobe fetching and their fresh faced beauty--just a pleasure.

They're from Germany. So Jaime & Fee (my stationed German and my native German) you guys have the opportunity to see them before I ever will! (And you should!) I on the other hand am crossing my fingers that they will come to the states soon.

Enjoy! And share if you love them, because that is what provides for a musician's family.
Was anybody else over the moon for the Civil Wars when they won 2 grammy's? They got there through people sharing their music (and of course because they are devastatingly talented!) Someday I hope that enough people love husband's music that he doesn't have to work another job. Someday!

  1. I was just telling my husband that I haven't found any good music lately...then this! They are so great and I probably haven't mentioned before, but we're huge fans of your husband's music too! I'll be sure to share. :)

    1. AW! Jodi, that is so sweet--seriously. Nothing warms my heart quite like someone loving the hub's music. (Maybe because I see all of the love that goes into it? I don't know.)

  3. You know that I already shared Owen music, right :)!? And I surely know Boy! They are on every radio station right now here in Germany. A good friend of mine already saw them live. I hadn't the opportunity yet, but maybe sometime... :)! I'm sure that they are able to have great success international and that's not a common thing for german musicians! I love that you featured them!!
    Have a great weekend, Fee
P.S: The link for Jaime links to my blog. I wanted to visit her, but wasn't able to. I'm sure, that you want to change that, right :)?!

  4. I had to break the habit of being selfish with my music, too! I totally understand that feeling though!

Remember that one time when I asked you to work The Civil Wars' merch table with me at their STL show last year!?!? Man I wish we had done it...!!!

    Love and miss you so.

    xoxo, Jos

Thank you for your sweet words! That being said, please be considerate of feelings. And remember that we all have them.
